REVMD Partners LLC is a company that works with various businesses to provide collection services and recover debt. Many Americans like you are being contacted by collection agencies who are trying to get payments on defaulted accounts they have acquired or been assigned. Even though you may owe a debt, you still have rights.

You should dispute the debt in writing if you feel as if the dollar amount the collection agency is requesting is inaccurate, if you feel the debt is not owed or if you feel the debt is fraudulent. You can send a letter to the collection agency within thirty days of first being notified of the collection. You should send this letter via certified mail so that you can prove that they received it. In response to your dispute, the collection agency must cease collection activity until they send you some sort of validation of the alleged debt. They can resume their collection efforts again once they produce proof of your debt.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) regulates what debt collection agencies may and may not do. There are many things collection agencies cannot do or say when contacting you. Collection agencies may not:

  • use abusive or obscene language;
  • call before 8am or after 9pm;
  • call you repeatedly;
  • call you at work, if they know that your employer does not permit personal calls;
  • contact any third party and state that you owe a debt;
  • threaten to have you arrested or imprisoned.

    If any of these things occur, your best option is to consult with a consumer protection attorney.

      RevMD Partners is a scam. They have never provided proof of service by their client, Rural Metro. I received a bill for hospital transport that never happened. Asked for proof or documents, never got from Charles Moore, manager, office lead, the man for RevMD. Moore promised to provide information after his on phone person would not give full name or correct information to me. RevMD Partners is a fraud, using illegal collection practices and threatening people. Number 855-853-9470 or (888) 285-3638. My case happened in Arizona.

      REVMD Partners first contacted us approximately 8 months ago regarding a medical bill for our now 3 year old daughter. They spoke with my husband about the bill and admitted they they did not in fact submit it to insurance. He suggested that they do that. He was then told that it was paid. Today we got a letter in the mail (addressed to my daughter) demanding payment of $1817.65 for the bill. I called and spoke to Augusta who was unable to give me much information and what information she did provide did not add up and kept changing. She stated that they had in fact submitted the claim to multiple insurance companies (naming Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medicare as a few) and all of them denied the claim. We have had the same insurance for many years now. She kept reiterating that the ONLY thing we can do is pay the bill. She would be willing to make payment arrangements or possibly consider a settlement amount, neither of which I would do. After hanging up with her, I called our insurance company to find out what was going on. The insurance company PAID the bill back in January 2014! They placed me on hold and contacted REVMD directly, even faxed over proof of the bill being paid. My husband called REVMD when he got home from work to verify the matter was resolved and spoke to Augusta again. He was informed that our insurance company did contact them and said they would send information over (E.O.B.). But we are still responsible for the bill and need to pay. The original creditor was Rural Metro. We live in Indiana.

      RevMD Partners LLC is trying to collect hospital bills from children. I think RevMD Partners LLC wants the money from me so I call to try to make a payment and can’t get through.
